SOUPER SUNDAY JUST TOOK ON A BRAND-NEW LOOK!

The annual Souper Sunday potluck is coming up on
February 3, right after the 11:00 a.m. worship service and will be held in the schoolhouse - BUT GUESS WHAT - IT IS NO LONGER A POTLUCK! The UMW ladies in the Circle of Friends group is going to do all the cooking for our annual get together as a fundraiser to rebuild the UMW treasury.

As many of you know the United Methodist Women have assisted with the funding or totally funded many projects on our church campus, including the schoolhouse kitchen and bathroom.  Although a specific project has not been designated yet, we know it will benefit all of us in the church.  The Circle of Friends group also contributes to community charities and projects every year.  So, we are hoping you will support us as we launch into 2019 with our minds full of ideas and our heart full of doing the Lord's work.

Circle of Friends will be decorating the schoolhouse in a football theme, but you can still feel free to wear your favorite team colors and bring any memorabilia for display.

The menu will include five different kinds of soups, Sloppy Joe's sandwiches, fruit salads/trays, relishes, desserts and beverages,

The cost for these delicious lunches will be:

$10.00 for adults
$5.00 for children 10 - 3,
Free for children 2 and under.
There will be a sign-up sheet in the sanctuary.  If you are writing a check in advance of the event, please make payable to "United Methodist Women" and give to Toni Carnahan, Marilyn Fritz, Patty Robinson, or Thelma Gesling and if you do not know any of these ladies, just ask who is in Circle of Friends and we will make sure your payment get to proper person.  Please do not put your payment in the offering plate.

Please come and enjoy a Sunday lunch that you do not have to prepare, and the fun fellowship we always have when we get together, all in the name of a good cause.

Circle of Friends appreciates your support.
